For construction projects which exceed $750,000, O&M may be used after one of the following steps has occurred. a. The Commander notifies the Service Secretary and waits 21 days before spending the money. b. The Service Secretary notifies Congress and waits 14 days before spending the money. c. The Commander notifies the Service Secretary (or his/her designee) who approves the construction project as long as the cost does not exceed $2 million. d. None of the above. O&M funds can be used at the discretion of the commander for any cost up to $2 Million for construction projects
