Plot the data for each data set in the same file. Does the data look like a normal distribution from each data set?

What is the function to use in order to pick 4 random numbers from a column and adding those numbers up. For example, I want to add B2+B3+B4+B5 to get 3. What is the function I type in to add up 4 random numbers from column B. I need 40 different sample sets so I don't want overlapping either. I also have a data set off 500 given to me.
