Ellie tells her son Ted, an avid gamer, that if he stops playing games on his PS4 for six months straight, she will buy him the new iPhone that he wants. Ellie says she knows its going to be really hard, and thats why she will reward him with a phone if he agrees. Ted agrees, and during the time he would have spent playing video games, he ends up getting a job. After six months, Ted asks his mother for the iPhone, but she says no. She reasons that since it wasnt that hard for him to

give up playing video games and he was benefitted by getting a job, there is no consideration and Ted cant enforce the promise she made. What do you think? Why?
