For Individual Writing Assignment #1, students are to research current events in the media that are related to "Canadian Public Administration" and to develop a News Review.

Specifically, you are to:

1. Pick one of the following media sources:

- https://globalnews.ca/

- https://nationalpost.com/

- https://www.theglobeandmail.com/

1. Log on to your chosen web site and search for titles that connects what has been addressed / discussed in POLS 2118 thus far and record how many "Results" you get.
2. Pick five of the 2024 results of your search and make a News Review that relates to POLS 2118.
3. Each Assignment is to include:
   1. An Executive Summary that is at least a full-page in length that provides an overview of your News Review by summarizing its key points.
   2. A review of each individual article (a full page for each article) that includes: a very succinct summary of the article and an explanation / analysis that captures how the thrust of the article directly relates to the course material of POLS 2118.
   3. A Conclusion that is at least a full-page in length that highlights the principal findings of your News Review.
