For our next exercise, please select at least one industry level, organizational level, or individual level ethical scandal and prepare a Prezi or PowerPoint presentation in at least two parts:1) summarize the facts of the situation and 2) analyze and synthesize the situation to provide commentary on the lessons we can learn from the mistakes made (the ethical implications). One of the benefits of studying historical examples is to learn from the mistakes of others and avoid making the same or similar mistakes in our professional and personal lives.Another category of ethical issues arises from a man-made disaster such as theExxon Valdezoil spill (in 1989), the Deepwater Horizon explosion, the gas leak Bhopal disaster, the dam collapse in Brazil, the toxic pollution at Aberdeen Proving Ground, or the 3-Mile Island or Chernobyl nuclear disaster. As an alternative to (or example of) the above categories (industry, organization, or individual), you could research one of these man-made disasters (or one not mentioned above).
