For Study Unit 4, I scored lower than I would have expected, I scored a 55%. I scored about 50% on both gross income and exclusions, but I believe that this is because i just need to look more into adjusted gross income and the way that it gets calculated! But I will do some more outside research, and even some at my job. I will also watch lecture videos and pair the simulations together with the rework. For Study Unit 5, I did much better, scoring an 80% on the diagnostic quiz. I scored well in trusts and exempt organizations. I remembered a lot about trust taxation from my career, as I did over 100 1041 income tax returns for trusts/estates. I struggled on accounting methods, as most of the clients I work for now are accrual basis, or we do a large accrual to cash adjustment for them. Either way I'm excited to study up on this topic and expand on my knowledge of trusts and learn more about accounting methods. Lastly, for study unit 6, I scored a 62%, with equal parts being the same score around 60% each. I don't have really any prior knowledge on FICA taxes, or the way they work, but the videos have already helped me quite a bit, and working through the simulation I think will help me as well
