The two resistors measuring 2R each, are parallel, so shouldn't it be: (1/Rparallel) = (1/2R) + (1/2R) (1/Rparallel) = (2/2R) (1/Rparallel) = (1/R) Rparallel = 1/(1/R) Rparallel = R = 12 ohms Rtotal = R + Rparallel = R + R = 12 ohms + 12 ohms = 24 ohms ε = IR = 0.5 A * 24 ohms ε = 12 V This is the answer I get, how is the answer that is marked correctly 24 V?
