For the fully bonded structure given below
a) Plot the vertical stress (z) and strain with respect to depth underneath the
center of the load (along X1). Please explain your observations Are the
curves continuous.
b) Plot the horizontal stress (either x or y) and strain with respect to depth
underneath the center of the load (along X1). Please explain your
observations. Are they continuous?
c) Duplicate the load 600mm away from the center of the first load. Plot the
vertical stress (z) along both x1 and x2 on the same plot. Is stress along x1
always higher than X2? Please explain your observations.

Please note that the units I selected should give you stresses in MPa (and strains
with no unit). In general, you need to be careful about your units using layered
