For the organizational capability - using the capability maturity model, assess the organization (same one you used for the second assignment)

• Identify the current state of capabilities and practices in the organization
• Where should be the organization in the next 18-24 months? I.e. target state.
• How could organization get there? What do they need to do or address in order to get to the target state.

and produce a management report on the current state of practices and plans for achieving the desired state. Remember, this is a management report be specific, concise, and complete i.e. avoid abstract statements, and make it self-explanatory without being wordy. You may interview people in your organization(s), search and talk to other sources, or assume if unable to find relevant information.

Your management report must address the following management questions. It does not need to be in the Question/Answer format or limited to these questions only.

1. Using the model, identify what capabilities and practices exist in the organization? In other words, you are describing the current state.
2. Where should be the organization in the next 18-24 months? I.e. what is our target state of capabilities and practices within the next 2 years?
3. What specific impact we can expect by achieving the target state? (include KPIs/metrics - making a business case)
4. What do we need to make it happen? What do we need to implement e.g. skills, roles/responsibilities, capabilities in other dependent processes or functions, technologies etc.
5. What are the risks, constraints, or barriers? What could we do about them?
6. Whats the roadmap? How do we get there?
