Question: For the provided structure below, design the vertical cross bracings for both directions for F 1 / F 2 , a typical column, roof joists

For the provided structure below, design the vertical cross bracings for
both directions for F1/F2, a typical column, roof joists and roof beams
using:
OBC2012, Part 4, Climatic and Seismic table, Limit States Design and
CSA -O86 latest edition.
The structure is subjected to the following loads:
- Roof snow load: per OBC2012 Climatic and Seismic table.
Location/City for the structure is as assigned for each student on
a separate document.
- Roof Live load due to occupancy is as per OBC2012.
- Roof service loads:
Dead Loads: Roof (slab, insulation, finish) is 1KPa,
Assume joist weight is 0.1KN/m,
Assume beam weight is 0.25KN/m,
Assume column weight is 0.3KN/m.
- Factored horizontal loads due to wind are:
F1=80KN, F2=200KN
- Dimensions as per sketch at page 2.
Wood is untreated, dry conditions, notch free.
Wood species and grading to be used: per student choice. Keep the
choice to: SPF, D.Fir, HEM-FIR; No1, SS.
For clarity the Sketch shows only the structural system: there is roofing
on top of the joists, there is vertical cladding as walls, there is a double
door at the front. Page 2 of 2
Miscellaneous:
All calculations must be handwritten, use pen not pencil.
SUBMISSION OF WORK SHALL CONTAIN:
cover page (student full name and student number, SECTION NUMBER),
Project Info,
SKETCH showing plan dimension of the structure and designation of
structural elements,
Design, DETAILED calculations.
(Show calculations for the overall dimensions of the structure, based on
student number; show calculations of the total snow load, as well.)
