For this assignment, create a PowerPoint Presentation as the VP of HR discussing the importance of giving and receiving feedback as a manager from a performance management standpoint. The audience for this presentation are your organziational leaders. Your slides should include of course the organization that you made up, logo's, etc., along with highlighting both good and poor work behavior in the workplace. For starters, you can discuss how an effective performance management system is key in order to effectivley provide accurate and concise feedback to your direct reports. I encourage not to just say, oh you have to be nice and polite. In the workplace, not everyone is going to perform their duties as expected so how to you address this? What discplinary tools are in place? What is the importance of giving feedback on a performance evaluation? What happens when a manager rates an employee with high remarks and then wants to terminate the individual four months later? Would you recommend terminating on the spot? What if you had a good employee that all of a sudden goes south- what do you do? Is their an employee assistance program available? What if an employee has a drinking or drug problem smells like it everyday? How would you handle this? What should a manager do when the feedback they receive doesn't tickle their ears?

There is no slide limit; however, four references are required in APA format. If the textbook is a reference, it must be listed as well. No assignment will be graded without references and a 0 will be issued. Presentations should be colorful and engaging. I strongly recommend avoiding the dark backdrop with white or bright writing, making the assignment hard to read. Furthermore, if this were in a life class, no one would be able to read the report.

This assignment is due on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at 11:59:00 p.m., CT. Safe assign score should be less than 30%. A 0 will be issued if no SafeAssign score is included. NO assignment will be graded at 11:59:01 p.m., CT per the syllabus, as assignments are posted well in advance and a 0 will be recorded.
