For this assignment, I need help in making this script a lot better, but not too long. I need to grab the potential donor's attention and focus on the importance of the Story Wrangler program in schools and how it impacts the underprivileged children of Austin and what a game-changer it is for these children and their families! I need to get them to want to donate to such a worthy cause. This is a phone campaign so I can't send emails, but I can offer them unbelievable benefits if they donate today with me. I need to get them to a point where they can't say no!!!!

Hello, [PATON'S FIRST NAME], this is Suzanne calling from The Paramount & Stateside Theatre. How are you today. I am just calling for a couple quick things. I noticed you have attended

[NAME OF SHOW], and I was wondering what brought you down for that? I am so happy you had a great time at our historic theatre. Can you believe that the Paramount has been around for 108 years!

[Initiate a casual conversation about their experience to establish rapport.]

I did want to thank you for being a member of our audience family. It really means a great deal to us.

The other reason for my call is I wanted to share something truly special with you about our mission off-stage where we focus on helping and enriching the lives of underprivileged children in schools. We only get a chance once a year to spotlight our outreach and educational programs, which have such a significant impact on tens of thousands of kids.

For Instance, are you familiar with our Story Wranglers program in schools? Well, the Story Wranglers is an incredible program and truly is special. We send professional arts educators known as the Paramount story wranglers into third grade classrooms for a seven week in school residency in which third graders learn the foundations of creative writing through arts integrated lessons designed to motivate students and improve their writing skills, confidence, creativity, and storytelling talents.

During the residency, each classroom writes hundreds of stories as a class and at the end of the residency these original stories are transformed from the page to the stage in a live performance in front of the entire campus!!! It really is a game changer for these kids that would not otherwise have access to arts education. Which is so important!

This program has such a huge impact in the classroom that 100% of teachers say that it significantly improves students writing and social-emotional learning. Also 98% of students report that they are proud of their writing and 92% of students expand their vocabulary and writing skills.

Just Imagine the feeling of your story the story YOU wrote performed on stage in front of your entire school and family and the sheer excitement of the audience cheering you on!

I just can't stress enough what a lasting impact this program has on the children as well as their families. Pretty amazing right?
