For this assignment, locate a current (e.g., within the last five years) newspaper column, news story, scholarly review, or other forms of Internet publication related to a current topic on employment law. Once you have found your article of choice:

Summarize the focus of the article, and how it applies to the topic of employment law. From your reading (i.e., text, article, lecture notes, etc.), provide your analysis of why the article is relevant (or not) to employment law within the workplace. Also, provide your thoughts on how you expect this topic to evolve over the next five, ten, to even twenty years. DO you see this topic becoming a more important or less important issue?

There is no length requirement for this post. My only requirement is that you put sufficient enough to convey your meaning aquatically. Some of you will do so in a paragraph. Some of you will so in ten paragraphs.

**For this assignment, and some context, think of a world in which things like the Internet or social media don't exist, and then compare that world to today. It would be difficult to do so in the context of today's workplace because those phenomena have become such an integral part of our daily work life.

I would like to see some of that same reflection in our response. Is your topic something that could have a dramatic impact on employment law in the future? Or, does your article identify an interesting trend or just passing fad.
