For this assignment, students are ONLY required to submit the specific meeting they are planning on attending (e.g. what meeting as well as the time/location).

Students will write brief evaluation on the agenda, how stakeholders and leaders conduct themselves, the people, and the issues (e.g. did they address the issue, escalate or de-escalate potential conflict, solicit inclusiveness or exclusiveness, etc).

Students will, if possible,interview one leader from the meeting to identify challenges of leadership and effective strategies and skills to mobilize support and build consensus.Students will write brief evaluation on the leader's comments (either from the interview or from the observation during the meeting) on how they align with best practices identified in the readings and discussions.

Students will evaluate documents from the various meetings (published literature, promotional material, newspaper reports) relevant to the meetings on how they align with best practices identified in the readings and discussions.

Finally, students will synthesizetheir findings make recommendations on how to effectively run meetings, solicit community involvement, manage competing expectations and represent oneself and organization to the public.
