For this assignment, we will continue with the Smart Solutions Associates scenario. We will also consider the health and safety of our employees and customers related to COVID-19.

Much of the work at Smart Solutions is conducted using project teams that are pulled together for our client deliverables. Chapter 12 talks about project management. You may have had a class in project management. Many sources are available for you to learn more about how to effectively manage a project.

Approach this assignment as though you will be managing a large website development effort for your most important customer. You can make up aspects of the project for this assignment.

Assignment:

Write a memo (standard memo format from the introductory module) to the CEO of Smart Solutions Associates (you can make up a name). Your memo should explain the following key aspects of your approach to this project. After your introductory paragraph, include:

• Key steps to planning and launching the project
• Criteria to select project team members
• Approaches to engage team members and ensure accountability
• Health and safety considerations for team members and customers
