Part 1: Project Brief

Prepare a project brief stating:

• Title of the project

• Background to the organisation

• Nature of the project to be implemented

• Reasons for undertaking this project

• Benefits for the organisation by completing the project

• Personal development benefits you may gain from completing the project

Part 2: Brainstorming

Briefly state:

• The job titles of participants involved in the process

• The structure of the process followed

• Sample outputs from the process such as flipchart notes of key stage headings

Part 3: Task Board & Work Breakdown Structure

Draw a task boarding flow chart from start to finish using the key stage headings from the brainstorming process.

Draw the WBS using the key stage headings from the task boarding flow chart, and drilling down under each stage to show the main steps involved.

Part 4: Gantt Chart

Complete a Gantt Chart showing the key stages in the project, those responsible for each key stage, and milestone target dates.

Part 5: Risk Assessment & Stakeholder Analysis

Risk Assessment

Apply the risk assessment matrix to your project. State the reasons for your ratings and comment on the implications of your assessment regarding if the project should proceed.

Stakeholder Analysis

Conduct a stakeholder analysis in respect of the project, highlighting key stakeholders you need to influence to ensure the success of the project.

Part 6: Project Implementation

Outline the implementations of the project plan and comment on main challenges faced during implementation
