For this assignment, you are going to need to research doing both an Acquisition AND a Divestiture.

Both of these processes are challenging from company to company, so we'll approach it using a similar scope, equipment acquisition.

Here's the Scope:

You have Windows $11$ machines, both laptops and desktops

Acquisition:

Your company is buying out another company

They have $50$ laptops and $50$ desktops

They have Windows $10$ machines only, no windows $11.$

You need to create an acquisitions list, similar to that of a procedure$/$standard statement. You can use either or

Goal $-$ List $10$ items your company considers as requirements that are specific to only Windows $11$ and Windows $10.$ you should treat it as going from windows $10$ to $11.$

Divestiture:

This is the exact same criteria as the Acquisition, except, its in reverse. You are leaving the company to start your own

You have $50$ laptops and $50$ desktops

You have windows $11$

Goal $-$ LIst $10$ items your company considers requirements for leaving the organization specific to Windows

Assignment criteria:

$3-5$ pages, excluding the title page and reference pages

$1$ section for Acquisition, $1$ section for Divestitures

RACI needs to be included $($get creative$)$

CSF framework is still in scope and needs it's own section

Version control is mandatory
