For this assignment, you are required to research and write an essay on impacts associated with a real-life event. The purpose of the essay is to demonstrate an understanding of event impacts and how consideration of event impacts in event management is essential to the event's success.

Discuss the major impacts that your chosen event (i.e. a real-life event that excites you) has on its stakeholders (e.g. negative and positive impacts of your chosen event associated with culture, economic, tourism, politics, society, and environment ). Be critical, not just descriptive. (in this part use some academic/industry references); 3. Examine the risks of not conducting an event impact analysis/assessment (in other words, what are the risks if we, as event managers, do not consider the event impacts?) (in this part use some academic/industry references); 4. Discuss the role of the event manager in balancing the event impacts (in other words, what can we, as event managers, do to maximise positive impacts and minimise potential negative impacts in events?)
