For this assignment, you will be creating two forecasts based on Canadian airline passenger data from

January $2015$ to December $2022.$

$1.$ Open the Forecas$$ngData$.$xlsx file that can be found on Slate.

$2.$ Create a forecast that extends to $12/1/2027,$ leaving all other op$$ons unchanged $($i$.$e$.,$ their

default$).$

$3.$ Rename the worksheet to $$Forecast$1.$

$4.$ In a blank cell $($e$.$g$.,$ cell G$2),$ briefly describe the issues with this forecast, why it cannot be used

and the main reason for the flaws in this forecast.

$5.$ Create a second forecast that extends to $12/1/2027.$ Alter the Forecast Start to resolve the issue

iden$$fied in step $4.$ Change the confidence interval to $90\%$ and ensure you include forecast

sta$$s$$cs in the forecast.

$6.$ Rename the worksheet to $$Forecast$2.$

$7.$ Clean up the Chart, adding an appropriate Title, Trendline $($choose the one that best suits the

data$),$ change the Upper Confidence Bound line to the colour green and the Lower Confidence

Bound line to the colour red. Format the Trendline that you added so that is more visible.

$8.$ Save the file $($call it Forecas$$ngData$\_$GroupX.xlsx$,$ replacing X with your group number$)$ and

submit to the Assignment dropbox.
