For this assignment, you will create a 10-question survey with the following requirements:

• Your survey needs to answer (but is not limited to):
• How many pets are in the area?
• The tolerance of animals,
• The reputation of the humane shelter,
• If they are willing to donate to the humane shelter,
• And how the humane shelter can serve the community.
• At least 4 questions need to be quantitative.
• At least 4 questions need to be categorical.
• At least 1 discrete question.
• At least 1 continuous question.
• At least 1 question of each type of level of measurement: nominal, ordinal, interval, ratio.

Part Two - Questions and Labels

After you have created the survey, address the following:

• What is the population that you are surveying?
• What type of sample will you choose to use for your survey?
• How will you execute surveying this sample?
• Will the sample be representative of your local county? Explain why or why not.
• Creating and distributing the survey would be part of which step in the statistical process?
• In your survey, would the calculations of your responses represent a parameter or a statistic? Explain.
• For each question in your survey, label the question as quantitative or categorical.
• For each quantitative question in your survey, label the question as discrete or continuous.
• For each question in your survey, label the level of measurement.

Part Three - Reflection

In one to two paragraphs, reflect on the process of creating your survey by addressing the following:

• Do you believe you have created a survey which will assist the humane shelter?
• Do you believe 10 questions were enough to accurately reflect the feelings towards animals for your county? Why or Why not?
• What changes are needed to improve the survey?

• Submit one document containing Part One - 10 survey questions, Part Two - answers to the questions and labels for survey questions, and Part Three - your reflection on the process.
