For this assignment, you will find some interesting data and statistics on university programs, services, or student life using Thompson Rivers University $($TRU$)$ and at least two other public Canadian universities. You will then write a short report in which you$$ll present some of your findings in visual format. Your task is to correctly incorporate graphic elements into a research$-$based document. You may use any type of data you find interesting or important. Some examples might include the cost of tuition per course or program $($based on one semester, one school year, or an entire program to graduation$),$ on$-$campus student housing options, course offerings, bursaries or scholarships, or student demographics such as the number $($or percentage$)$ of Indigenous or international students enrolled at each university during the current school year. This information can be found on university websites. Don$$t forget to cite all sources. NOTE: Look for information, numbers, and statistics first. Then decide what$$s interesting or important about the information. Your preliminary research will provide you with ideas. You can$$t write an introduction or thesis statement until you have gathered all the information. Any time you write a report, your thesis statement will tell the reader what the document is about and why it$$s important. The assignment requires you to use: $$ at least three comparison universities $$ TRU and two other schools, $$ three or more topics, aspects, values, or measurements $($you need these to create charts or graphs with enough fields$)$ based on your own interest areas, what you think is important to universities in terms of recruiting and retaining students, or local issues $($such as housing or the job market$),$ and $$ a minimum of three graphic elements based on your chosen topics. You may use some charts or graphs taken from credible sources, but you must create at least one graphic element from raw data.
