For this course, the main assignment is your data analysis portfolio. This portfolio explores/discusses data that you have collected from your student teaching experience and a discussion of your analysis of all of the data. Finally, the portfolio must contain a reflective narrative that discusses how you grappled with classroom data analysis. The portfolio must contain the following:

Five collected samples of data: The data should not all be the same type of data. For example, please do not only have quizzes. Also, as one of the videos discuss, please have both qualitative and quantitative data. The data should be collected from the entire class.

Your analysis of the data:For this section of the portfolio, please discuss how you analyzed the data and the results of the analysis process. You should discuss this process in depth with specific steps (First, I...Second, I...Third, I..., etc.) In this section, it may be helpful to think of writing a recipe.

Reflective Narrative: For this section of the portfolio, please write a two-page reflection of the process of gathering the data, analyzing the data, and implementing the data to positively impact student learning. This section should be a metacognitive (thinking about your thinking) discussion of your process and how the process will influence your future classroom.
