For this discussion, you will conduct several trials using the Virtual Forest Experience. Select the Virtual Forest mode, appropriate settings, and time like you did in the previous visits to the Virtual Forest. You will see an Objectives screen $($just before you press start for the last time$)$ that will remind you to press $1($the number one.$)$ Click Start Simulation on the Objectives screen. Once the simulation begins, press $1.$ If done successfully the screen will display Population Reduced to One Rabbit. This creates a scenario where only one rabbit is present in the game. Remember that pressing T provides distance markers and L provides a laser rangefinder. Repeat $6$ or more trials in which you use the following rules:$1.$ Use a $3-$minute game length$2.$ Stay at the start point, you can look in all directions but dont move$3.$ Count the rabbit by clicking on it$\mathrm{.}4.$ Once you have counted a rabbit, you can end the game $($use the Esc key$)$ and record the trial as detected. If you go $3$ minutes without counting a rabbit, record the trial as not detected.
