For this discussion you will need to do some brief research on the history and background of Henry Gantt and the Gantt Chart that he developed many years ago, and also the development of Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT), using the Critical Path Method. For this discussion, I want to to think about the relevance of these techniques in our world today, and in what applications they might be used today. Some of you have been involved in projects in your work and/or academic experience. For example, earning a degree in college requires you to take a number of courses, many of which have prerequisites (Predecessors in PERT terminology), in order for you to earn your degree. Similarly, each course has certain assessments to be completed (Activities in PERT terminology), in order to earn a grade in the course. Provide some examples where you see the possibility of using either or both methods. This could apply to previous work experiences that you have been involved in, or general observations that you have otherwise made from the real world
