Goal Anyone who views your collection of texts should come away with a greater understanding of how the character felt about the decision. Role You can choose any speaker (or character) in the poems. Keep in mind, though, that you'll need to include details from this person's past and present, focusing especially on the decision that person made in the poem. Audience Your audience is an editor at a publishing company. Situation You have been asked by your publisher to create a multi-genre work of literature or art that revolves around the experiences of a character from a popular and accessible poem about life choices. What you produce, taken together, should provide a clear and profound glimpse into the character's thoughts, feelings and reasoning when presented with a difficult decision. Feel free to give the speaker of the poem a name. You should produce a minimum of 5 different pieces from the possibilities below, though your are not limited to these choices.
