Now infrasonic and ultrasonic simply mean they are sounds at frequencies that are above or below the textbook definition of the range of frequencies that a human can hear. infrasonic being low and ultrasonic being high, again this doesn't necessarily mean that they are inaudible they are just above or below a certain frequency.
