For this project assignment, you will research business and statistical methods used for benchmarking, ranking and scoring data sets. Using these methods and the retail information data sets, create a scoring model for retail customers. The results of the scoring model will be displayed using Tableau.

You will use Tableau to create a visual scoring model to classify Gimball's customers based upon criteria that you set. You will need to create a data model for how you want to score customers. The data model should include variables that align with the business objectives.

First, you must choose a scoring system. This can be a numerical ranking such as $110$ score, a Good$/$Better$/$Best$,$ or similar scoring system that you determine. Identify variables that should be included in your scoring model and assign each a weight. Explain your scoring system and determine the logic which will lead to a single output score for each customer. Create the model in Tableau using the calculation functions then load the model with sample data that proves how the scoring model works.

In a lab report, provide a brief summary explaining your scoring model and why you chose it$.$ Discuss how your scoring model can be used by Gimball's to target specific customers. Be sure to include the weighting of variables along with their values. To compliment your written summary, export screenshots from Tableau which uses a sample dataset to showcase values for each customer. Gimball's will need to understand that they can assign a value to every individual customer on their target list and separate customers into specific categories. Your lab report should be $6-8$ pages in length. When complete, upload your submission for grading.
