For this project, you will be completing a mini-accounting cycle for a service company called Service Enterprises Co. The business began operating on December 1, 2020 as a sole proprietorship. Their Chart of Accounts is provided below. You will need to complete the accounting cycle for the month of December to prepare the business to start the new year. You will accomplish this by using the template provided to complete the following steps:

5. Post the adjusting entries to the general ledger accounts.

6. Prepare an adjusted trial balance.

7. Prepare an income statement for the month ended December 31, 2020.

8. Prepare a statement of owners equity for the month ended December 31, 2020.

9. Prepare a balance sheet as of December 31, 2020.

10. Journalize the closing entries in the general journal.

11. Post the closing entries to the general ledger accounts.

12. Prepare a post-closing trial balance as of December 31, 2020.
