A) In class we discussed various situational factors that influence conformity, such as ambiguity, group size, unanimity, public vs. private conditions, and availability of alternative options or groups. Identify one situational factor that influenced Purl's conformity, explain it, and describe how this factor either increased or decreased Purl's conformity levels.

B) How do you evaluate the impact of Purl's decision to either conform or not, on her social relationships with her colleagues prior to and after the turning point of the movie? For instance, do you think that the decision to conform impacted her social relationships positively or negatively? What did she gain or lose as a result?

C) Think of an example where you were in a situation where you felt a need to conform to a particular social norm: * Briefly describe the situation. Did you conform or did not conform to the situation? Do you consider this example to be a positive or a negative example of conformity? In other words, what did you lose or gain as a result of your decision?
