For this task you are to complete a role play. It is a $3-$person role play.

You will play the part of Hannah and meet with Deb Sinclair, the Care Co$-$ordinator, and Benjamin Hartley, another support worker at Banksia Care, to discuss your email and workplace improvement suggestions from Question $1.$

You will need to ask $2$ people to play the roles of Deb and Benjamin.

Before starting your role play, it will help to first:

ask your volunteers to read the Participant Role Descriptions Handout Download Participant Role Descriptions Handout$($to help them effectively play their roles and characters$)$

explain to your volunteers how the role play will run, including details of the provided scenario and answer any questions they might have about the role they are to play and what they need to do

set up a quiet space $($which allows for discussion$),$ this may be a lounge area of your home, or another suitable area where a meeting could take place. Alternatively, if your volunteers are unable to meet face$-$to$-$face, set up the required equipment to complete the task using a video conferencing tool or app such as Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Zoom etc.

In the meeting, you will need to talk about the following:

Why you think each work practice can be improved and how this will assist in meeting legal and$/$or ethical requirements.

How you can contribute to the development and review of policies and procedures.

You must also ask Deb and Benjamin for feedback on your suggestions. For example you should ask:

If they think your suggestions are reasonable.

If they can suggest any improvements to your suggestions.

The meeting should not exceed $3-5$ minutes.
