For this week, we will cover Process Costing. The major concern here is keeping track of costs in inventory as the inventory items pass through multiple processes in the manufacturing process. We have templates (included on the test) that will allow you to keep track of these costs. For this week's discussion, provide an item that would be made using an assembly line. Give your guess (either based on experience or general business knowledge) on what the manufacturing processes are for that item. Contrast this with an example of an item that is more likely costed using Job Costing.
