For this week's assignment, you will pick an argumentative topic. An argumentative topic should take a strong stance and seek to persuade someone to come to your side. Below is a list of good topics:

Notice these are in question form -- you should not use the question form for your thesis. You should choose a side or strong stance, based on the question. The question is simply to get you thinking about a topic. Here is a great guide to writing a thesis statement:

For the assignment: Write thesis statement in a .doc file, include a map if possible with your three MAIN arguments, A paragraph about why you are interested in the topic and why you find it important.
