For your initial post you will need to brainstorm three (3) ideas for hosting software as a service offerings to businesses or individuals. This can be an existing software product or an original product. You do not have to write the software.

Your initial post must be a minimum of 300 words. Youll be discussing all three of your project ideas, and giving the following information for each idea:

What is the title of the project?

What type of software would it be (CRM, productivity, project management, cloud storage, etc.)?

What would be the hosting platform (Windows/Linux) and would it be publicly hosted (in the cloud such as Amazon, Google, etc.) or privately hosted in their own infrastructure?

How would you ensure that the software could be scaled and maintain performance expectations if it grows in popularity in a short period of time?

Why did you select the host operative system and hosting platform (public or private) and cost, performance, security or business continuity reasons behind your choice?

Without researching, are you aware of any similar products/services that are already available?

Who do you think your target audience would be? Also think in terms of enterprise, small business, individual, etc. and the number of users.
