Portfolio Project Part 3 Description:

If a companys computer hardware and data are not secure, the consequences can be devastating. This section of the training manual as part of your portfolio should help employees know what to do to lock down the companys hardware and data.

1. Briefly list and explain potential security issues that may arise from all of the following:

• Hacking (unauthorized access to data/computers)
• Viruses
• Malware
• Ransomware

2. Briefly explain company computer and data security methods and procedures. Discuss the following:

• Firewalls
• Antivirus software
• Passwords
• Signing out/in computer hardware
