For your team assignment, you are expected to work on a project of your choice. To get started on this, everyone should please create a brief Statement of Work (SOW) for a potential project that your team may undertake. During one of our workshops on Day 1, you will work with your team and compare each other's SoWs and decide which of the proposed projects you will pick for your group assignment. It is therefore important that every team member prepares and brings a potential project SOW to share and compare with the rest of your teammates. Teams will posted after the elective Add/Drop period has passed. The statement of work (SOW) is a brief and succinct document (typically less than one page), that answers 3 fundamental questions. Example: PROJECT XYZ a) Product Scope Description: key features and characteristics of a project you wish to deliver b) Business Need: a supported justification of why the project should be undertaken, based on concrete referenced data c, Strategic Alignment: an indication of how this project will contribute towards a wider set of strategic goals
