Force Field Analysis - Quadrant Matrix

Use a scatter plot with four quadrants to visualize the driving and restraining forces for your well-being goals.

Data:

• Ranking for Importance (X-axis): This reflects how important each factor is to your well-being. (1 = Most Important, 5 = Least Important)
• Ranking for Amenability (Y-axis): This reflects how easy or difficult it is to influence each factor. (1 = Easiest, 5 = Hardest)

Color Coding:

• Green: High Importance & Easy to Influence (Driving Forces)
• Orange: High Importance & Difficult to Influence (Major Restraining Forces)
• Blue: Low Importance & Easy to Influence (Less Critical but Supportive)
• Red: Low Importance & Difficult to influence (Less Critical Restraining Forces)

Quadrant Matrix:

Plotting the Data:

1. Create a scatter plot with "Ranking for Importance" on the X-axis and "Ranking for Amenability" on the Y-axis.
2. Plot each factor as a data point, color-coded according to the scheme above.
3. Draw lines to create the four quadrants based on the importance and amenability rankings (high/low).
