In eighth grade, I officially made the decision that I wanted to pursue a career as a lawyer. Although I did not know what kind of lawyer I wanted to be then, I knew that was my passion. In high school, the journey began, and certain classes began to stick out related to the vision of being a lawyer. This passion was further enhanced through my participation in government, where we had mock trials and the latest information on the law I had not previously, and economics, where I got a closer look at the business world.

Both government and economics require an elevated level of critical thinking and analytical skills, which I highly enjoyed when participating in these classes. A little glimpse into the business world, how the legal system works, and how the legal field is constantly evolving, with new laws being implemented and outdated ones being revoked or revised, motivated me to learn more and play a role in this dynamic field of business and law. This realization and insight were necessary at the start of my process of becoming a lawyer, specifically a corporate lawyer; this formally introduced my interest in the sphere of law and business, as well as my desire to learn continuously over the course of my life.

At the moment, I am an industrious student, maintaining a 3.9 grade point average, and in the process of completing my associate's degree in business. This scholastic pursuit is aiding me in the various aspects of business and management and enhancing my passion for business law. This journey is strengthening my knowledge of business concepts and improving my critical thinking and decision-making skills; I am also learning about business environments, contracts, and legal aspects. I currently hold many educational accomplishments, including being an ongoing member of the National Honor Society and the Phi Theta Kappa, and placed a position on the President's Honors List. These are not just titles and certifications; to me, they display my commitment to my academic and career path, help me recall my purpose, and encourage me to strive harder.

While I am working intensely and striving to be the highest-performing student I can be, I simultaneously balance my academic pursuits with my professional responsibilities by being a dedicated and reliable employee at General Nutrition Centers. My current job at General Nutrition Centers enriches my understanding of business operations, customer relations, and the importance of legal compliance in a corporate setting. I am also actively involved in volunteering, particularly forming cards for the elderly and children in hospitals; doing this enhanced my life and gave me an appreciation and opportunity to show kindness and humanity. My professional interests include business and law, and I am especially interested in developing business strategies, managing legal issues, and supporting business development.

In the future, I envision myself enhancing my knowledge of business law and becoming a professional corporate lawyer who will assist businesses in achieving their goals while meeting legal standards. I will gain more knowledge on the legal aspects blended with business operations and management. To accomplish this goal, I will further my education in the spring of 2025; I will be in an undergraduate program with a focus on business law at Arizona State University. This will be a great achievement in my dream of attending the University of Arizona's James E. Rogers College of Law. I envision myself further sub-specializing in corporate law and concentrating on areas such as acquisitions and securities law, getting both a Master's in Business Administration and a Juris Doctor, and being a member of the Arizona State Bar.
