You should consult and integrate information from at least 3 credible sources (scholarly journal articles, academic/scholarly books, or Government of Canada websites). **Feel free to make up any information (names, titles, etc.) you need to complete the assignment, but do NOT make up research! Expectations: The report should follow the basic structure of a formal recommendation report, and include at least the following sections: Introduction (provide context, outline the problem briefly) Problem (describe the problem in detail) Research (outline the results of your research) Analysis (explain how your research will help solve the problem or answer the question) Conclusion (provide your recommendations based on your analysis of the research) Make sure you 1. Choose direct or indirect approach (consider the sensitivity of your recommendations- direct approach is usually the best, unless giving unwanted information to a resistant audience) 2. Use headings (be consistent with formatting) 3. Start with a Table of Contents and a brief Executive Summary (submitted as part of the report but on a separate page-use a cover page, then the T of C, then the Executive Summary, then the report). Note: You do NOT need to include a Letter of Transmittal. 4. Employ APA citations for any quotations, ideas, or data you use from your sources. 5. Include at least one chart, graph, table, or image (properly labelled and cited). 6. Include an APA References list (submitted as part of the report). 7. Make sure your grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, etc. are all flawless. 8. Use proper graphic highlighting techniques (to highlight most important points and subtitles). See my notes to avoid overusing these techniques. 9. In-person classes only: Staple your report together and do NOT use any kind of folder, binder, duotang, envelope, or plastic cover to hold your pages. 10.
