BACKGROUND
Project Management Solutions is having a great year! Not only is your business very successful in your home city, but you've expanded globally in select markets as well (hence your previous intercultural communications memo!) Good for you!
Unfortunately, some of your employees aren't happy with the expansion and have been grumblingaround the office about this. Some comments you overhear are based in legitimate
reasons while others sound a littletoo close to outright racism and cultural hostility! This is no good.

Tone is crucialin this assignment. Your goal it to appear positive and polite.Offer suggestions rather than giving orders, and avoid making inappropriate comments or assumptions. In fact, there is NO NEEDto mention anythingabout the specific content of what people are (allegedly) saying around the office or about the upcoming trip. POORLY written memos will look reactionary and brand employees with pre-emptive blame! Don't do this!
Instead, pretend your communication is completely uninitiateda reminder! My advice is re-read your week 2 lecture about emails and the direct pattern and review my suggested email regarding that 2% policy email revision. As for this assignment's organization:
INTRO: Introduce your topic in a general sense (briefly) and then get to the point. Use short paragraphs.
BODY: Then move into your 4 - 5 suggestions for best practices. Use a lead in phrase and use bullet points AND bolded sub-headings. Do not lump all of your suggestions in an "info drop" paragraph. Keep in mind to phrase your suggestions in positive language, as much as possible. Discuss/ explain each suggestion in some detailas opposed to a quick (and obvious) bullet point list with short phrases. Finally, HERE is where you should embedinfo about Sacco and other careless social media examples. Use these examples to support your suggestions.
CONCLUSION: Lastly, provide a short, forward-looking closing paragraph. Perhaps include something about your company's core values (positive onesyou decide) if you haven't found a way to work this into the previous sections of your email. And, of course, include a line about any follow-up from employees.
