For this activity you will be required to conduct a SWOT analysis on your own department. AS a result of this exercise you should be$.$ able to identify a plan of action to help to improve the department's performance over the nest planning period.

You will do this by using the environmental analysis that you conducted in Activity $1$c$.$ Thus you must take all the findings on the environmental analysis and put them under the appropriate headings for SWOT:

Weaknesses

Opportunities

Threats

From here you will identify at least $2$ and not more than $4$ key issues that face the department. These will be issues that, if not addressed, will severely impact on the department's ability to reach it goals.

Once you have done this you will suggest an action plan for your department that will address each of the key issues.
