I understand Trump's take on this although I do think it causes a big effect on China's economy, I do think breaking ties in this situation did show America wanted to take the virus seriously and did believe China did not act in a certain way they should have. In this instance, I think Trump showed Americans he cared for their wellbeing, of course we could all agree there may have been some personal reasons why he would want to break ties with China. But
