Fractions will be a difficult subject for many students to understand, including myself, out of all the concepts we have covered in this course. Fractions are a tricky concept for me personally, especially when they have the same equivalency but differ in the numerator and denominator by a few digits. I have always had trouble with fraction acquisition and multiplication. Baking is one real-world application of fractions that occurs often. If Jon were to add cups of milk to his recipe, how much more milk would he need to add overallthat is, if Jon needs 2 cups of milk? Jon will either add up to 2 cups or deduct from 2 cups in this example. Identifying the common denominator among the fractions and solving for the missing component may cause confusion for students understanding this concept. Ultimately, I want to learn everything I can about fractions because I'm a future teacher and I find them to be a challenging concept to explain to my students
