All my life I was shown tough love from my parents , my family , friends etc until one day I was showed something different . My life had changed tremendously from tough love to meaningful connections My parents is Caribbean so the really strict . One day I was experiencing my feeling to my dad about telling him I'm not mental okay and the problemsI'm struggling with , crying my eyes out instead ofMy dad hugging telling me everything going to be okay he was just staring me saying " you will be fine " and really hurt my feelings because all I need in that moment is my dad to there for me and showed me he cared . I faced a lot of challenges growing up because it's wasn't a safe place for me to express my feelings or it's wasn't normally in my community to show any type of emotion's . At some point I started to believe to not feel or express your emotions was normal until my life took a turning point and I was showed something different.I met this wonderful boy my freshman year in high school and my perspective instantly changed. Dre not only help me something different but helpMe to develop my emotions better . At first me and Dre was just great friends but he was always there for me supporting me in everything I do his favorite word to me "you got this " even when I didn't even believe in my self . Dre and I was best of friends until our relationship took a turn because feelings started growing from both sides but I was scared to even faced them because I didn't wanna lose an amazing friendship. One of the challenges we faced from being amazing friends to couples is being scared to risk our friendship because we didn't what to expect going into a romantic relationship. Taking the risk to have a romantic relationship was by far one of the best thing we did because it changed my perspective emotionally and how I should be treated by a man .Dre was constantly supportive of my dreams , my goals no matter what . Dre is literally so calm in stressful situations, it help me relax my mind and helped to express my feelings without me feeling that I'm going be judge because I'm being a baby and it's okay to express self in tough situations. An example. "One day, I wasn't feeling well because I was stressed about school. My father and I weren't on good terms, and I felt like no one was there for me. He physically held me in his arms for hours while I cried and explained my worries, and he understood everything, and I didn't feel judge at all . I'm over thinker and easily stress but I don't normally showed it because my parents didn't normalize that growing up but having some one like Dre in my life help me to be a better communicator and express my self instead of shutting down . I never felt this emotional support and I really help me to be vulnerable and open up not just in my relationship but in my friendships. Conclusion My personal growth is directly linked to my emotional Growth which happened because I met Dre . Im very thankful that I met him and he taught me how to read my emotions and feel like a part of this beautiful world.

Suggestions for Process Writing 1 - Identify the desired outcome of the process analysis. 2 - Formulate a thesis that clarifies your attitude toward the process. 3 - Keep your audience in mind - place yourself in the reader's shoes. 4- Use mind mapping to identify the steps of the process in order to break down the process into its components. 5 - Explain the process one step at a time in chronological order. 6- Use transitional words to help the reader understand the order of the steps required. QUALITIES OF EFFECTIVE PROCESS WRITING 1. A clear purpose. The general purpose of process writing is either to explain a process so that a reader can understand it or to give instructions that the reader can follow. The "essay "Regular Work for an Irregular Economy" by Carmen Martino and David Bensman explains the process of getting daily work through a temporary agency. 2. A thesis that is clearly stated or implied. Like all other effective essays, a process narrative should have a clear thesis, or main idea. The thesis in Martino and Bensman's essay-clearly suggested and partially stated in the first two paragraphs-is that "If you are a Latino worker [in New Brunswick, New Jersey], your only option is to register at one of the labor agencies" in the area. 3. A chronological sequence of the major stages or steps of the process and clear transitions. For readers to be able to understand or reproduce a process, the description must follow a clear chronological sequence that includes all of the essential steps of the process. In addition, writers can help their readers to understand the processes they are describing by providing clear transitions. Martino and Bensman organize their essay according to the daily chronological process experienced by workers at the temp office: arrival at the temp office (paragraphs 3-5), getting to the work place (paragraph 6), and leaving the job at the end of the day (paragraph 7). Phrases such as "you arrive at the temp office," "when you get to the workplace," and "at the end of the day" introduce these major stages. 4. Inclusion of all details and definitions necessary for understanding or duplicating the process. Good process writing also includes all details necessary for describing the process and each of its stages-but no irrelevant or distracting details. Some necessary details are those that explain reasons for certain steps in the process. In their essay, for example Martino and Bensman explain that serious workers should "arrive at the temp office by 6. A.M." and just wait because the boss begins to give . ut work orders at 7:00. They also say that the system is costly because the office deducts $7 a day for transportation and charges $1 to $2 for cashing payroll checks
