The three chapters we will cover in this section deal with the importance of maximizing the revenue potential of the property. Please elaborate on some of the strategies discussed in the text and in class which hotel/revenue managers utilize to achieve the ultimate goal of a "perfect-sell", where all rooms available are occupied by paying guests. Cover in detail why it is so important to have an accurate projection to forecast the number of rooms available for sale on a given date. Consider why a manager would sell more rooms than available (overbook). Include in your summary the importance of global reservation technologies
