Game play in AD&D is generally sequential; events do not occur to a player
(or character) simultaneously. For example, if I am attacking a dragon, the dragon has to
wait for me to finish before it can attack back (or try to block my attack); also, usually another
player will have to wait for me to finish before he can attack. Its an assumption to simplify
the management of the game (and if you think about it, true ties in timed events are ex-
tremely, extremely rare and generally are due to our limited ability to capture an accurate time)
