The EGD PAT is a compulsory national formal assessment task that contributes 100 marks towards your final Grade 10 and 11 Promotion mark.

Although the sharing of knowledge and information is permissible, the PAT must be supervision of your EGD teacher. completed indlvidually and ALL the presentations, including the front page and index, must be your own original work.
The PAT must be completed in phases and within the given time frame of your teacher's PAT work schedule/pace setter/management plan.
ALL freehand drawings and instrument drawings must be prepared in pencil.
The PAT must be of an appropriate higher-order of complexity for the grade.
The PAT will be assessed according to the included grade specific ASSESSMENT CRITERIA and CHECKLIST
The grade specific CHECKLIST must be used to provide clear evidence of continuous self-assessment.
Untidy and messy work, as well as the late submission of presentation requirements, will be penalised.

NOTE: You are NOT required to purchase a new casting. The selected casting should be one that is readily available to you.
