It need to expand its operation base to Tanzania by employing a low cost strategy as one of the competitive strategy supported by the business level strategy. This firm anticipate to face competition from other local and international producers in Tanzania as some of them are in the industry for long time and they have attained economies of scale. This firm want to design an operational strategy that will be helpful in increasing its market share in East Africa by $16\%$ from $40\%$ existing in the Kenya market. Operational strategy will specifies the policies and plans for using organization$$s resources to support its long term competitive strategy. Operations strategy specifies how the firm will employ its operations capabilities to support the business strategy. This firm want to enter in Tanzania using Foreign Licensing and oversee Marketing by the firm as it seen it as best internationalization method than other methods. ABC Limited has enough expert to perform the duties but they are limited with human Resource approaches in Kenya. The shareholders of TOTO MILK Limited in Kenya has consulted you as an MBA graduate of the Institute of Accountancy Arusha on various issues regarding its operations expansion in Tanzania and if possible to hire you as the firm$$s expert in business and operations management by giving you power of attorney. Before hiring you they want your advice on competitive priories of the firm in Tanzania and its regulatory environment.
