• What does it mean to "shop" for healthcare? What makes shopping for healthcare difficult for most people? What would make it easier?

Shopping for healthcare can honestly be compared to that of shopping for a new car or a new house.Seems odd to think of it that way at first but honestly, it is not that much different.Millennials seem to be changing the data on this and seem to be doing more research online and through social media in order to look for services where they get the most quality for the lesser price tag.Health care has made it a point that they want the patients to be able to "pick their provider and service."Ultimately, this can affect where a patient decides that they want to receive medical services and healthcare overall.It can be complicated though in the sense that often times what you see may not be necessarily what you get.There can be underlying fees that perhaps we as patients do not understand but after a procedure has been completed, it is difficult for us not to pay.Many health care organizations have been urged to post prices for various services or goods though as they know that more people are actually doing some research on this topic.
