My name is Hannah. I am currently attending CCA for a degree in psychology. I am a medical assistant and work at the Children's Hospital here in Aurora at the Developmental Pediatrics clinic. In my job role I get to work with a lot of children diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disabilities. I think this is what inspired me to get my degree in Psychology. Hopefully one day I will be able to help these kids more. I think the most interesting thing about me is that I have 10 brothers and sister(making me one of eleven) I am one of the oldest children and I think this gave me my desire to work with kids as a career choice.

Working in the medical field, we use technology every day- from the electronic health record to Microsoft. However the tool that I find myself using most of the time is Microsoft word. Along with this business communication class I am taking a class in Computer Applications and more and more I am starting to see all the wonderful ways that word can help. For example when writing a resume there are so many tools in word that can be used to help create and format a resume. I feel like creating a resume is one of the things that most people struggle with, but with easy to use word templates it can take away a whole lot of stress from the task.

One tool that I wish I used more is linkedin. I know that so many people use this to their benefit to create business contacts, but other than what I have heard about it I am pretty clueless to what it actually can help with. I have an account, but I have only ever used it to sign into company trainings.

Hello! My name is Imaan, and it is very nice to meet you all! I am currently pursuing my A.A.S in Computer Information Systems, and this is my last semester! Business communication seems like an interesting topic to learn, and I am excited to see how I can incorporate what I learn in this class into my personal and professional life.

A set of tools I use a lot both personally and professionally are mobile apps. Being able to communicate with my peers and coworkers from anywhere is an incredibly useful tool. The business I work for has a mobile app available for download which provides us a useful kit of resources if we ever need to look up a product or find out a team member's schedule. Managers can also send push notifications to the whole team, which keeps us all on the same page.

One tool that could be useful professionally would be Intelligent Communication Technology. A good ICT system could be useful to us whenever a client requests a service from us. The ICT could predict what our workflow should be as to properly assist the client, which could save us a bit of time. AI can be used to predict and recommend so many things that it is hard to think of what it would not be able to do for us!
