Please read the following scriptures.

Luke $13$:$1-9$

The passage begins with Jesus asking questions regarding people$$s sin$.$Is one person worse than another? $$If not, what does that mean for us$?$The passage ends with the parable of the fig tree that is not bearing fruit. $$The picture is of a tree that seems worthless, and the owner is tired of the lack of growth. $$But the one in charge of tending the garden sees value in the tree and is willing to cultivate it and nourish it to see if in the future it will bear fruit. Use this as springboard for the evening to talk about our need to be engaged in the Bible study process.$$
